IROCK CONTINUUM is an after school, tutorial program for school students, pre-k through 6th grade.

NEED TO KNOW:

IROCK CONTINUUM normal, daily schedule:

Bus drop-off – 5:00 PM – Snack time and unwind

You may send a snack and drink. 

5:00-6:00 PM – Homework Hour with Certified School Teacher

We have certified, local schoolteachers scheduled Monday-Thursday to assist and tutor students with homework and general academic needs.  On Fridays, 'academic and creative' time will be given for homework, reading, drawing, etc.

6:00-7:00 PM – Active Play

Our brand new Open-Concept Flex Room will allow students to play, relax, read or use their own tablets* or smart phones* (provided by parent/guardian) until picked up. *Sole responsibility of electronic devices will be on the student.  Neither DLSPA or iRock Continuum will take any responsibility of electronic devise or their  care.  We suggest these be sent inside a protective case. Sharing of electronic devices, tablets, and phones will not be allowed with other students.*

Early Release Days –

We will follow the same schedule with the inclusion of a fun demonstration, various activities and arts!   Additional fees will apply.

 

POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

REGISTRATION/ENROLLMENT:

Please complete and acknowledge Registration Form online at dlspa.net. Be sure to update all emergency information as needed, including your address, all contact info, e-mail address, and any changes in your child’s medical information.

EMERGENCY INFORMATION:

iRock Continuum must have Emergency contacts: Person who generally knows the whereabouts of the parent(s)/guardian(s). Authorized pick-up: Persons authorized to pick-up student. Physician’s info, known allergies or medical conditions.

HEALTH of CHILDREN:

If student is not well enough for school, do not send to iRock Continuum. Should student begin to run fever, parent will be notified to arrange pick up.

MEDICATION:

iRock Continuum does not administer medicine.

FEES:

REGISTRATION FEE:

Upon enrollment, a non-refundable $50.00 registration fee per family must be paid via credit card on file upon enrollment. For iRock Continuum, the registration fee is charged annually per family. Should you un-enroll and return, an additional registration fee will be due.

SUPPLY FEE:

A supply fee of $40.00 is charged twice a year – August and February. Regular/part-time drop-ins will be charged a discounted, one time Supply Fee of $20.00

TUITION:

All fees and tuition due for iRock Continuum must be paid via credit card on file with Auto-Pay selected.   Should there be a problem with your credit card, new card info must be input within 24 hours of payment due or may result in the termination of services.  RECEIPTS ARE EMAILED.

Tuition is $60.00 weekly, charged on the  Sunday of each week, via credit card on file with Auto Pay.  Family may choose to pay multiple weeks ahead.

PART-TIME DROP-IN:

Part time Drop-in Tuition may be a student who attends class/classes at Dlspa and would like the option of iRock Continuum on those days, if room. Cost is $20.00 per day and will be charged to account.  Credit card must be on file with auto-pay payment.

UNEXPECTED DROP-IN:

Unexpectedly, a student may need to attend iRock Continuum.  This service is offered, if class isn’t full.  The $20.00 fee is due prior to student arrival.  Parent must go online to dlspa.net and enroll as Drop-in.  An email will notify DLSPA of your student’s arrival.

ABSENCES, SICK DAYS AND VACATIONS:

Full week tuition is charged should your child attend any portion of the week, or not at all. Full tuition remains due to hold your student’s place.

WITHDRAWING YOUR CHILD:

If you need to withdraw your child, we require two weeks written notice  prior to your leaving.

TERMINATION OF SERVICES:

Dlspa’s iRock Continuum is concerned for the welfare and safety of all students and staff. At all times, we reserve the right to discontinue the child’s enrollment or terminate services as deemed necessary at the sole discretion of Dlspa’s iRock Continuum management staff, with or without notice.

HOURS OF OPERATION AND HOLIDAYS:

Hours of operation are Monday-Friday, Bus drop-off - 7:00 pm. Parents must pick-up their student by 7:00 PM. DLSPA iRock Continuum is closed Labor Day, Thanksgiving week,  2 weeks at Christmas, and Spring Break.  Special arrangements must be made for Early Release Days, ‘extra hours’ fee (to be determined) will be applied.

LATE PICKUP:

iRock Continuum ends promptly at 7:00 PM. Any student not picked up by 7:05 PM – 7:15 pm will automatically be charged a  $20.00 late fee. An additional fee of $10.00 every 5 minutes will also be applied from 7:16 PM – 7:30 pm. If you find that you are going to be delayed, please notify iRock Continuum immediately-late fees will still apply. Proper authorities will be notified if any child remains at the facility after 7:30 PM.

RELEASE OF STUDENT:

Student will only be released to a legal parent/guardian or persons authorized by the parent/guardian. Those authorized will be required to present state issued Photo ID until person is recognizable by DLSPA  iRock Continuum staff. Please advise all authorized for pick-up a PHOTO ID will be required. Should a person other than those listed will pick up, a written authorization via email must be received prior from parent/guardian. This person will be required to present a State issued PHOTO ID.

If there is a custody agreement or protective order in place for your student, please provide iRock Continuum with a certified copy of such court orders. If proper documentation is not in the child’s file, we are obligated to release the child to parent/guardian.
